You don't like Tidus from FF X? He's very well designed i think. Actually, all the characters from FF X were good. Best looking FF characters there is in my opinion. I also like Red XIII from FF VII. As well as most of the designs from FF XIII (game itself was sorta bad tho).

And i also like Chrono from Chrono Trigger. I mean, how can you /not/ like that wild hairdue?:p And besides, his clothes were cool. Did you ever try to draw the clothes? DIFFICULT!!!

Ohh! There is just /soo/ many one could mention, it's not possible to remember them all!

And Tony the Tiger?:p hehe^^, I'm not gonna shut up about that! Seriously? Tony the Tiger?:p

I can't tell if you're serious about FFX, or if I should take this as trolling.

You've seen one girlyboy with belts all over him, you've seen 'em all!

There's nothing wrong with being a girlyboy (not that you said that), but we're talking about design here. His personality is for another discussion. Out of all FF characters i've seen, he has the coolest outfit and best "attitude"(facial features and expressions). And how can you /not/ like that tan? :p

But while we're in on the topic, what other guys like him are there? Gimme names of games or characters or google them for me yourself so i don't have to:p

I know people say that Cloud and Squall are so cool and stuff, but they could really use a better wardrobe and some mood elevators:p Even Zidane had a better taste in clothes than they had, even tho Zidane's taste might have been a little... Unique:p At least he knew that colors compliment each other if you combine them right:p

One guy that /doesn't/ do colors right, is Chrono, from Chrono Cross:p Have you /seen/ him? He looks like he was in a hurry to get up that day:p

I do kinda wish they would remake some of the older games tho. I imagine that many of the characters looks awesome.

Let me put it this way:

My future career as a character designer, if I am successful, will undo all the evils Tetsuya Nomura ever committed.

Nice list indeed.

And that's a worthy mission for a character designer.

Also I cought myself thinking of Giger's alien designs as pretty genderless... even in the face of the fact that the design literaly has a huge dick with teeth in place of a head. Really, how much more explicitly male can a desgn get?

When thinking of male characters, the artsy dude from Iron Giant stands out as particulary interesting to me.

He was indeed a brilliant character design! I'll add him now.
